Job Specification
  • Prepares new Sales & Account Specialist by conducting orientation to sales process; developing individual coaching plans; providing resources and assistance; schedules individual and team training plans on a regular basis
  • Determines training needs by traveling with and Sales Specialist; observing sales encounters; studying sales results reports; conferring with sales managers.
  • Develops individual results by maintaining policy and procedure resources; providing coaching; conducting training sessions; developing outcome improvement resources.
  • Improves training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques; making support readily available; integrating support with routine job functions.
  • Supports training financial objectives by recommending budget items; controlling costs.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Accomplishes sales training and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Designs onboarding session for new hires and Sales Trainees
  • Maintains updated curriculum database and training record
  • Evaluates sales team performance to ensure incorporation of taught techniques
  • Monitors day-to-day activities and sales performance of each Account Specialist in order to track progress, suggest new programs, develop appropriate selling techniques, and ensure sales growth.
Minimum Qualification
  • Proven work experience as a Sales training specialist or Sales training coordinator
  • Extensive knowledge of learning principles and modern training techniques
  • An ability to manage the full training cycle
  • Experience with learning management softwares
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Understanding of sales process, preferably with customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and team management skills
  • BS Degree in Education, Human Resources, Sales or relevant field
