Extracts (Aromatic)

Refer to solvent extracts of distillates or the residue (residuum) from a vacuum tower; these substances are complex, highly viscous liquids that contain predominately aromatic hydrocarbons covering the carbon number range of C15 to C50.

Group II (N150, N500)

Defined as being more than 90 percent saturates, less than 0.03 percent sulfur and with a viscosity index of 80 to 120. They are often manufactured by hydrocracking, which is a more complex process than what is used for Group I base oils.

Group I (SN70/80, SN150, SN500, BS150/160)

Classified as less than 90 percent saturates, greater than 0.03 percent sulfur and with a viscosity-index range of 80 to 120. The temperature range for these oils is from 32 to 150 degrees F. Group I base oils are solvent-refined, which is a simpler refining process.

Marine – Asphalt Based

It is penetrating type grease that provides superior load carrying capacity and corrosion resistance property. Has the capacity to protect wire ropes and steel cables for an ultra-long period against adverse environment and climatic variances.

Heavy – Grease Based

Highly recommended for marine, mining and cement industry draglines, hoist cable and various cable of elevators, derricks, ship and wire rope ancillaries, capstans mooring and towing lines, multi strand ropes, cranes and other heavy equipment: lifters, gantries, support cables of bridges, guy wires, rail curves and the like.

Light Oil Based

Suitable for Mining Operations – dragline drag and hoist ropes, drift ropes, crane cables, winch ropes and tow cables. It is also suitable for Marine Operations – tug tow ropes, shipboard crane cables and winch ropes. Highly recommended for fine standard wire ropes.

Water resistant grease –ryan
  • Provides shear resistance, adhesion properties and mechanical stability
  • It protects against rust and corrosion
